Overview

This course is designed for Project Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and Proprietors of smaller companies.  This course would also benefit client based personnel. This SMSTS is identified in Approved Codes of Practice as the core training for all Site Managers.

The course covers The Health & Safety at Work Act and the regulations relevant to the construction industry. To include:

• CDM Regulations
• Risk Assessments
• Method Statements
• Scaffolding
• Electricity
• Excavations
• Demolition
• Confined Spaces

Competence

This course will enable delegates to ensure that safety issues are managed efficiently, protecting the workforce, other people and the general environment, and will ensure that legal compliance is achieved.
