Overview
This course is desinged for companies and individuals who want to test portable electrical appliances.
Course Content
- To completely conduct portable appliance testing in accordance with the institute of Electrical Engineers ACoP
- To undertake testing in a safe working environment
- To understand the legal requirements associated with portable appliance testing
- To be able to identify all classes of appliance
- To safely conduct tests of the portable appliances that conform with the published ACoP

- The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998
- The Electricity at Work Regulation 1989
Competence
The course will enable delegates to be competent to test portable electrical appliances in a safe working environment.
