Safety Policy Writing

If you employ five or more people, by law you must have a written Health and Safety Policy.  This should set out the responsibilities of each employee and the written arrangements for carrying them out.

The policy will contain:

• A statement of the company’s commitment to Health, Safety and Welfare;
• Details of the organisation for achieving the objectives set out in the statement;
• Demonstration of the arrangements the organisation will employ to carry out the statement
