• The development of discrimination and equal opportunities legislation;
• The requirements of equal pay;
• Like work, work rated as equivalent and work of equal value;
• The implications of appointment and managements in relation to discrimination;
• Sex and racial equality requirements and the developing requirements of gender and religion;
• Protection and issues relating to harassment;
• The requirements associated with disability discrimination and the age discrimination legislation;
• The protection related to pregnancy.
